Políticas de la Memoria is the annual research journal of the Centro de Documentación e Investigación de la Cultura de Izquierdas (CeDInCI). It publishes peer-reviewed articles, critical interventions, interviews, documents, translations, and reviews contributing to research on intellectual history, the history of left-wing traditions and social movements, critical theories, and archival policies, preservation, and the representation of collective memory.
Políticas de la Memoria is published annually in November and seeks to meet international standards for academic research and scholarly publishing while maintaining its commitment to intellectual intervention.

> AIMS AND SCOPE
Políticas de la Memoria organizes a substantial portion of its contents in thematic dossiers that bring together original research submitted to academic peer review around shared historiographical and theoretical problems. These research contributions are placed in dialogue with other forms of intervention, including the recovery and publication of documents, interviews with specialists, Spanish translations of significant texts, and critical essays.
Within each dossier and section, the journal clearly identifies which contributions have undergone peer review and which correspond to other types of content.
Section Policies
In addition to its research dossiers, Políticas de la Memoria includes sections linked to different research programs and lines of work developed by CeDInCI:
- Instantáneas: editorial and intervention texts published by the journal. These contributions are not peer reviewed and, unless otherwise indicated, are signed by members of the Editorial Committee.
- Historia del Libro y de la Edición : works devoted to the circuits of production, circulation, reception, and reading, and to the mediation processes involving editors, writers, printers, typographers, booksellers, distributors, critics, activists, readers, and other agents.
- Sexo y Revolución : studies and debates on the relationships between women's movements, feminisms, gender and sexual-diversity activism, and the different traditions and expressions of the political left.
- Investigaciones sobre anarquismos : interdisciplinary approaches to the history and present of anarchist movements and cultures.
- Historia intelectual europea “En homenaje a José Sazbón” : methodological and historical work on intellectual history and cultural production.
- Reseñas críticas: critical book reviews assessed by the Editorial Committee that seek to promote substantive academic debate and avoid both merely celebratory commentary and simple summaries of recent publications.
Políticas de la Memoria accepts submissions for consideration as peer-reviewed articles throughout the year. The Editorial Committee sends for review only original works that have not been previously published and are not simultaneously under evaluation or publication elsewhere.

> ABOUT THE PUBLISHER: CeDInCI
The Centro de Documentación e Investigación de la Cultura de Izquierdas (CeDInCI) is a non-profit civil association founded in Buenos Aires in 1998, devoted to the recovery, preservation, research, and dissemination of the documentary and cultural heritage produced by left-wing traditions and social movements in Latin America.
Since 2006, CeDInCI has been an officially recognized workplace of the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), hosting researchers and fellows in the Social Sciences and Humanities.
In 2010, CeDInCI signed a cooperation agreement with the Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM), through which it became an academic unit of that university.
In 2015, CeDInCI's Southern Cone Labor Press Collection (Colección de Prensa Obrera del Cono Sur) was recognized as Documentary Heritage of Latin America and the Caribbean by UNESCO's Memory of the World Programme.
In 2018, CeDInCI received the Diploma of Merit from the Fundación Konex in the category of Cultural Institutions, as one of the five institutions recognized for their trajectory during the 2008-2017 decade.
Throughout its history, CeDInCI has developed projects and cooperation agreements with academic, cultural, and documentary-preservation institutions in Argentina and abroad.

In order to promote access to and the global exchange of knowledge, Políticas de la Memoria provides immediate open access to all its content.
The journal does not charge fees for submission, peer review, article processing, or publication (submission fees or article processing charges, APCs).
Unless otherwise expressly indicated, content published by the journal is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) . This license permits copying and redistribution of the material in any medium or format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and to the work's first publication in Políticas de la Memoria, the material is not used for commercial purposes, and modified versions of the work are not distributed.
CeDInCI is a non-profit organization and Políticas de la Memoria does not carry commercial advertising.

Políticas de la Memoria follows international standards of publication ethics and good editorial practice. The responsibilities of editors, reviewers, and authors, authorship and contribution criteria, and the procedures applied in cases of potential academic misconduct are described in full in the journal's Code of Conduct and Editorial Best Practices .

Políticas de la Memoria uses LOCKSS and CLOCKSS as digital-preservation systems designed to facilitate the long-term preservation and accessibility of the journal's content.
